Last night our friends threw us a Couple's Baby Shower. Boy, was it fun. All of our parents (soon to be grandpapas and grandmamas) were in town for the occasion and our family was joined by our large family of friends. Jessica, Deanne & Erin hosted the event and provided plenty of sweets and drinks. Jeff brewed a kick-ass home brew which apparently did some ass-kicking as people appeared to be having a grand ole time. The girls got a pair of kids climbing shoes for everyone to sign and laughter abounded as the night wore on. We are fortunate to have such wonderful people in our lives that have helped us grow and develop over the years. I'm excited to bring our child into such a wonderful extended family of aunties & uncles. I, of course (as it seems to be the theme in my third trimester), was an emotional wreck. Tears aside, I had a blast. Thanks to everyone that was there (and those that weren't) for all of your love and support!
