Gram Visits

10 days old in this photo.  On his Auntie Deanne's lap.

My mom, now known as Gram, was able to come out to stay with us for a week after Logan was born.  Her dear friend, Marilyn, was called Gram by her grandchildren which was the inspiration for the new title.  It was a big help to have an extra set of hands in the house.  And, of course, great for her and Logan to get to spend some time together.  Sorry we don't live closer, or that there isn't good climbing in Ohio!

Logan at 10 days

Logan with Gram at 12 days.  Poor Gram probably thought we'd never get around to making grandchildren.  Surprise!  Fortunately, she had the time to come out to visit so soon after his birth.  I think she likes him, eh?  He sure liked being held by her.

Logan has been very social since he was born.  He's a breeze to take places.  Here we are with Jessica at Pekoe.  He loves their chai tea.  Or, maybe that's mom that really loves the chai.  He's very excited to meet his new friend as soon as Jessica births him/her.

Three Generations

Our handsome (spoken like a real mother) little boy
Logan has been the ideal baby after a quick and easy birth.  It is a bit surreal to have a child.  I feel like he is a loaner that we'll have to give back in a month or two.  We're excited that he has joined our family and are looking forward to adventuring with him soon.  Without trying to wish away these early days, we've got big plans for you, little man... if you're interested.

We are fortunate to have amazing friends and family (everyone is family, really) that have helped us with the transition.  Lots of food, support and love have been sent our way.  And, of course, I have the most amazing husband and Logan has the best father.
