We had a nice Thanksgiving with my Dad, Cathy, Dylan, Tori and Jo. A yummy feast and some nice family time.

The following weekend I ran the Rock Canyon Half Marathon in Pueblo, CO. It was a "trail" run which had some pavement, some bike path, some dirt road, some double track and a teensy bit of singletrack. It was a fast course along the Arkansas River. I missed my goal by 2 minutes but not bad for no training. It definitely got me psyched to do some runs next year! The whole family went to cheer me on. Brian had his hands full with Logan and Eden, so he wasn't able to take any photos. It didn't feel too pretty; I'm guessing it didn't look it either!
Logan is growing, growing, growing. He is sitting up on his own these days. He has rolled from his tummy to his back and his back to his tummy. The other morning, he was prepping his "moonwalk" (like Michael Jackson); he was on his tummy and kept pushing himself backwards. He also spins himself in circles while on his tummy as he reaches for various toys. He's a keeper alright.

I cannot claim this idea as my own. However, I think it is a good one. I saw a picture of a son in one of his Dad's shirts and a daughter in one of her Mom's dresses (they were both older; maybe 7 & 9?). The story was that this family had taken a picture every year like this because they weren't good at getting family photos. I like the idea of watching him grow into his Dad's shirt. So, we'll see if we can stick to it. Here's our first one.
