We opted out of our Griswald-Style drive across the country this past holiday season. Logan missed out on the largest prairie dog and other oddities along the way. And, all the folks east of the Mississippi missed out on an Eden visit. Instead, we flew to NY last weekend to spend time with Brian's side of the family.
We enjoyed introducing Logan to his great grandparents and other relatives that were in the area. There were 4 generations of the McMahon clan together which was pretty cool! It was really cold but I managed a couple of runs anyway. Having a kiddo makes me understand why some people move back to be closer to their families. Fortunately, we have some family close by!

Mama and Baby snuggle |
Logan was struggling with sleeping the first two nights we were there. One evening, I brought him down to join us for a bit longer. Betsy started playing peek-a-boo with Logan which resulted in serious belly laughter. It was hilarious and was good fun for quite awhile.

We stopped by Uncle Mark's music studio on our way out of Buffalo. What a great place! Logan is sitting in a little chair that has been a part of the Buell family for a long time. Logan is (I think) the third generation to use it!

Logan and I are off to Ohio the first weekend in February to complete the winter, post-holiday family visits. I'm looking forward to introducing him to Buckeye Country!
