Tis the season. I can't believe it. Of course, the year has just flown by. Faster and faster every year, really and truly. You know what we've been doing...I'm sure you've been reading our blog religiously. Logan is getting more and more fun every minute. If you ask him where something is, he holds up his hands, palm up like "I don't know". Sometimes, when he's thinking about something, he taps his finger on his lip before he acts. He loves putting things behind his back (or just down at his side) and then bringing it up with wide eyes, raised eyebrows and a look of surprise on his mouth. He's super cute, very loving, a really nice young man. I'm so proud of him. To think that a year ago, he was just learning to roll over and not even crawling around yet. I'm excited about the year(s) to come.
Brian, his Dad and Logan cut down a tree for our Christmas tree. It is nice to have some Christmas decor around the house. I usually skip it since we're often out of town. I got to decorate it (I offered for others to help, but no one took me up on it. Huh.). Logan helped a little bit. He's more interested in taking the ornaments off. So, the really fragile ones are getting higher and higher in the tree as he reaches higher and higher. And, of course, he has several which he can take off and put on at will.
I took Logan to visit Santa at the mall about a week ago. I was pretty sure this was going to be our year for the teary eyed picture. And, I was right. We were having fun waiting in line and then when it was our turn, the poor guy started screaming. Santa's helpers quickly threw me and Logan down on the bench and Santa jumped in for a photo. They, of course, rush you through, so we didn't really get to spend much time telling Santa how Logan is our boy wonder and most deserving of anything that will appear under the tree.
