Happy Easter

It is phenomenal up here today.  We are heading into the seasons/6 months that maintain/increase our love for our neighborhood.  Sunny, blue skies, warm.  Mmm...lovely.  A few months ago, my girlfriend Laurie moved up here.  She and her hubby have a son, Jayden, who is 6 months older than Logan.  We get to play together a lot now which is great.  She organized an Easter Egg Hunt at her house for the boys and some of our other friends/families in the mountain 'hood.  It was fun.

And, they're off.  Logan, Jayden and Cassin.  And, Bear, too!
There was a combination of hard boiled eggs and plastic eggs with toys to find.  Logan and I would find an egg and he was very interested in what was inside before we moved on.  He even tried to open the real ones.  It was cute.  I think he would have been content with one just one egg, but I encouraged him to keep searching after the initial investigation.
Searching the basket grass for the toy that
fell in when he opened the egg.

Some even had treats! Yummy.

There were also pinecones to gather.

After the egg hunt, we all had some brunch.  I love having some other Mamas and kiddos up here to play with.  It was a great start to the day.

In other news, Logan peed off the deck with Dad yesterday.  Growing up so fast.  *sigh*
Hope y'all are doing well.  We're having a ball with Logan and Eden.  Looking forward to a summer of outdoor exploration.
