The first significant snow (about a foot on Wednesday) has arrived and is already melting.  Almost two months have passed since my last non-work related post.  And you'd likely be right to assume that we haven't been sitting around on our duffs.  Although...
My mom came to visit in September.  She helped out with Logan-sitting while Marisa was out of town.  It was great to have her in our home.  She and Logan had many laughs and enjoyed some rare one-on-one time.  It was a quick visit, so we hope she can come back soon!

I love Logan's hair.  Who knows how he would like it styled, but for now we're sticking with the au naurale look.  It's too good to pass up.  This particular morning he had some killer bedhead and was super bubbly and happy.

We have had a glorious fall.  Pretty dry overall, warm and sunny.  Which means we've been outside a lot.  Hooray!  Here, we're chillin' on the deck.  If I remember correctly, we had been picking off all the green tomatoes before the first frost.

In early October, Brian's parents came to visit.  They drove out from NY having a slew of adventures along the way.  And, while they were here, Paul started work for a new client in Loveland, CO.  While he was working, Betsy got to babysit Logan while I went to work.  We're fortunate that all of our parents have made such an effort to be a part of Logan's life and have gotten to see him so regularly since his birth.  I know it is hard when we live so far apart.  At any rate, there was more laughter and some walking going on while Grandma and Grandpa were here.  They went to the carousel in Ned, too.

We received a big box in the mail recently and I helped Logan build a house.  It was a great way to explain to him what Dad does when he's at work.  And, it has been fun for Logan to explore the door, the windows, sitting inside, etc.
