Funny how just two weeks makes things feel outdated in this techno-heavy world of updating statuses and tweeting your thoughts or every move. These are photos from getting our Christmas tree and seeing Santa.
We went to see Santa at Four Star Realty. We know several folks that work there. It was a great setup. We could hang out and eat cookies while other kids were talking to Santa. And, Logan could go back and forth to Santa as much as he pleased. Much nicer than waiting in line at the mall for 2 hours and then having 30 seconds with Santa. Well done on organizing, Kristin!

We have cut down a tree in the forest adjacent to our house for the last couple years. This year we did the same. We have a permit from the Forest Service to cut trees which we got originally for fire and beetle mitigation. It was a snowy day, so we picked one quickly.

You may notice that Logan has multiple shirts on in these photos. For a week he was into layering and chose to wear multiple shirts and pairs of pants. This seems to have passed already. It was pretty funny. I think my favorite was a night he picked one pair of cotton pjs (pants and top), two fleece footed pjs and a t-shirt. Love that kid.
