In June, we went to the Aquarium with my younger sister, Jo, for her birthday (19!). Dad, Cathy, and Dylan went, too. It was fun. They have a big shark tank, a desert flash flood display, a tunnel you walked through where various fish would swim over. They even have tigers (which seemed a bit unusual for an aquarium, but cool nonetheless). They also have tank where you can pet Stingrays. It was fun to check out.

Afterwards, we went to Lucky Pie in Louisville for dinner. Dylan and his girlfriend, Ashton, work there. They serve delicious gourmet pizza and have a great beer list, too. It was fun to spend the day with Jo on her birthday.
In August, Brian, Logan and I went to the Children's Museum (Brian's idea, even!). Jessica, Jeff and Emerson met us down there. It is a fun little interactive place for kids to explore. It wasn't too crowded even though we were down there on a Sunday. Guess going during nap time helps! Ha!
They have a room with a fire truck that you can explore. They have fireman jackets and hats to put on. There is an intercom that goes from the truck to the station, a fire pole to slide down and a bed that you can pretend you are a fireman sleeping when the call comes in. There is even a phone where you can practice calling 911.

They have a grocery store where you can put various things in the cart and then checkout.

| Maybe they'll work at Whole Foods in high school. |
Good times in the big city!
